About the Sesame project
The Sesame project is a JISC-funded initiative, led by the Technology-Assisted Lifelong Learning team in the University of Oxford Department for Continuing Education, that aims to identify existing, and create new Open Educational Resources (OER) across a broad range of subject disciplines, aimed at adult learners and their tutors, but of use to all. The project team is working with part-time tutors and students on the Department for Continuing Education's weekly class programme in two main ways:
- Existing OER and other relevant resources are being collated and managed in the form of freely accessible subject specific collections.
- Newly created resources are being licensed and made freely available for others to view, download, repurpose, and incorporate in to their own learning and teaching.
Further information on the project can be found on the Sesame project website.
