The London Corresponding Society

Unsurprisingly the Paineite London Corresponding Society came under frequent attack for its allegedly radical aims.

Here we see one of those attacks from a government minister, in the midst of the so-called ‘treason trials’ in which LCS members were targeted, as well as a response from the LCS itself.
