Greek Film Centre

The Greek Film Centre has as its aim the promotion and dissemination of Greek film productions both in Greece and internationally. It finances film productions; it promotes and supports film distribution; it organises retrospectives and film weeks abroad, as well as participates in festivals; it organises seminars, awards scholarships for studies in Greece and abroad, and conducts research, as well as issues publications on the history and problems of Greek cinema. Its extgensive online database contains biographies and up-to-date filmographies of Greek film directors.
