John F. Kennedy's Speeches 1961-63

One of the keys to John F Kennedy's hold on the American people was his ability to deliver powerful speeches, especially in televised addresses to the nation. Drafted by accomplished speech writers these presidential remarks helped to set a mood of national optimism during the early 1960s. This BBC archive contains audio files of five of his key speeches
