NICHOLAS REVETT: THE GREEK DORIC ORDER
This link takes you to an image of a print which was published by the Society of Dilettanti in Volume 1 of Ionian Antiquities, in 1769. It was one of the earliest works to make surveys of real Greek buildings and it shows a capital entablature and cornice found near the temple of Athene Polias at Priene (about 334 BC). The National Art Library also holds a copy of the series. This print was engraved by Thomas Miller after Nicholas Revett, and it shows a Greek capital in the Doric order.
