The Weimar Republic and the Rise of the Nazis: Using images and films as historical evidence

We are familiar with seeing images and film in the media - on TV, the Internet, in magazine and newspaper editorial. This resource will use images and film as historical evidence of the situation in Germany after WW1, the Weimar Republic and the emergence of the Nazi party up to 1933. This resource is split into two sections: learning activities and resources. * Learning activities: there are four learning activities focussing on the Versailles Treaty, the economy, the political situation and a general overview. They are intended to provoke thought and discussion on the topics and could stand alone or be completed together. * Resources: there are two themed lists of images and films, the Weimar Republic and the rise of the Nazis.
